During a BOTOX treatment, tiny injections are placed into specific facial muscles to relax them and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The needle we use is very small, and most people describe injections as feeling like a subtle pinch. BOTOX and other neuromodulator treatments are quick, comfortable, and require no downtime.
Side effects are generally mild and temporary, such as slight redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection site. Our expert injectors will review what to expect and provide aftercare guidance to ensure the best possible outcome. Depending on the product, you can expect results to develop within a few days to a week, with full effects visible in approximately 2 weeks. BOTOX and Dysport results typically last about 3 to 4 months, while DAXXIFY results can last 6 months or more.
The cost per unit of BOTOX and Dysport is less than DAXXIFY, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Even though DAXXIFY’s price tag appears higher at first, the yearly cost is comparable because the results typically last about two months longer. Additionally, the number of units required to produce the desired results varies depending on the product used.
