RefinedMD treats spider and reticular veins, not varicose veins (you’ll need a different kind of specialist for that). The lower leg’s venous system is kind of like an upside down tree. You have the trunk, limbs, branches, twigs, and a few leaves. That’s all good and natural, but if there’s a vein problem you need to start at the trunk. Anything above the knee is more serious and requires a specialist, and we’re happy to refer you to one.
At RefinedMD, we specialize in the twigs and leaves. Injectables, lasers, or a combination of the two are the most effective strategies for handling spider veins. These superficial conditions don’t require serious medical attention. Surface cosmetic treatment for spider and reticular veins requires laser therapy, usually with ExcelV.
