Sofwave is non-invasive and requires little to no downtime, fitting into busy schedules and active lifestyles. Clients immediately get back to their day after this lunch-hour treatment. Suitable for all skin tones and types, Sofwave can be used as a preventive measure against aging or to turn back the clock from the inside out.
This is a tolerable treatment that most people describe as feeling like a warming of the skin. Real-time skin temperature monitoring is a feature of this technology and no damage to the skin’s underlying structures occurs. However, anesthetic topicals can be applied for sensitive skin or sensitive areas.
The ideal depth for wrinkle treatment is 1.5 mm, which reaches the mid-dermis region. The proprietary Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB™ generates the necessary heat this precise depth needs so you can achieve the best outcome.
In a session lasting just 30–45 minutes, multiple ultrasound beams are directed at the target site(s) to achieve maximum coverage with every pulse. Most clients require just one treatment for long-lasting, optimal results. However, some clients require additional treatment sessions.
There is no need for any special after care and no lingering sensation after the treatment. Following a Sofwave procedure, the treated zones stimulate the body’s organic healing response—neo-collagenases—which in turn kick-start collagen repair and production. Keep in mind that any collagen induction treatment does not yield immediate results. Time is necessary for this process to occur. Most clients start seeing initial results about one month after their treatment and it takes 3–6 months on average for full results to show. Progress photos are the best way to track changes. Results can last for several months and additional maintenance Sofwave sessions can help you keep and sustain a more youthful appearance.
