I came to visit after following them on Instagram. Everybody was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a super cute cat. It just relaxes me, personally. In terms of offers, they offer sooooo much it’s a little bit overwhelming. To be honest I came with unclear goals besides staying young so kudos for them to guide me through different options to take my skin to the next level. After consultation with Nagmeh, esthetic coordinator (she’s awesome) I decided to do some Botox which I was a bit nervous about but they made me feel very comfortable. Dr Swengel did the injections and he was very calm and friendly which I greatly appreciated. Great team! Everyone’s so friendly. Will come back for sure. In terms of results I’ll post a new review in a couple of months, it’s too soon to tell. The place is also pretty and relaxing.

Dr. Roy and his PA Alex were amazing. They talked me through all of my options to get a smoother but natural looking neck and jawline. It's been only 8 weeks since my surgery and you can barely see where the stitches were. Every step of the way the team patiently explained what I should expect and I am blown away by the outcome. It's exactly what I hoped it would be. I would recommend RefinedMD and Dr. Roy to anyone! I could not be happier.
This was my first time having esthetic surgery (a full facelift), so I was nervous not only about the procedure but of all the surgeons to choose from, who could I completely trust? I had considered having the surgery done for quite some time. I interviewed four surgeons; two over on the coast where I live, and two over in the Bay Area - one of which of course was Dr. Roy who I interviewed last. For too many reasons to mention but the most important being, the first three- the staffs were very unprofessional, one of the surgeons was 45 minutes late for my appointment with not a good reason, the offices were tired and outdated, and portfolios and websites were completely out-of-date and very unprofessionally put together. When I arrived at RefinedMD, the building and inside office space were very nice, and upon walking through the front door, I was immediately greeted by professional and friendly front desk staff. After checking in I was directed to one of the several lounge areas appointed with fine art, comfortable furniture and other very nice contemporary accessories. Why were all of these details important to me? Because if I was going to spend as much money as I was going to, I wanted everything to be near to perfect if not perfect. And it was perfect! Then I met Christine Romero, Surgical Consultant. She was warm, friendly, professional, dressed beautifully, and very knowledgeable. Christine took me on a tour of their beautiful office (which is very much like an art gallery due to all of the fine art that hangs throughout), and on my way through I met other professional and friendly staff. One of particular note was Dr. Steven Swengel, Dermatologist. He was friendly, professional and took the time to find out why I was visiting their office. After the tour, I was led to a comfortable room with an oversized white leather chair to wait to meet Dr. Roy. There was a knock on the door and Dr. Roy poked his head in with the biggest smile and warmest greeting. The consultation was thorough and covered everything I believed I wanted done. When we decided I was going to go forward, Dr. Roy took me to a photo shoot room where he took “before” images. We agreed on what all I wanted to have done and the expense of what that would entail. I went back out to the lobby and booked my surgery date. The surgery date came, and I arrived at the surgery center and found the same level of professionalism. The surgery went well. On a scale of 0 - 10, only for the first several days my discomfort level was about a 3. I want to give a big shout out to Alex, Dr. Roy’s PA who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire experience. If I were asked would I do it again, based on the incredible results, I would not hesitate for a second. I trust Dr. Roy implicitly and feel certain that he would never recommend any procedure if it were not going to have pleasing esthetic benefits. All of my post-surgery visits have been so pleasant. I’m now on an amazing skin care regime to care for all the efforts that Dr. Roy’s staff and I have taken to look my best possible. I highly recommend RefinedMD, Dr. Roy and his knowledgeable staff to perform your esthetic surgery procedure without any reservation. It was a positive life changing experience.

I chose Dr. Roy my face/neck lift and lower blepharoplasty. After half a dozen consults, I felt confident that Dr. Roy was the right surgeon for me. It was important to me to see a surgeon who only works on faces, and who listens to his patients. Dr. Roy is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain procedures in detail. As a worrier, I appreciated that I could call any time I had a question during my recovery, and Christine would get back to me right away. I could go in as many times as necessary if I had a concern, and the staff were kind and gracious. I am so happy with my results! I highly recommend Dr. Roy and his wonderful team at Refined MD.
