I have had Botox before but never any filler. I have always wanted to get lip filler but was worried about looking "overdone". My worries went away as soon as I met with Alice. She really took the time to listen to my concerns and was very kind which eased my anxiety. I was overdue for maintenance Botox so we started with some in my forehead. I have this embarrassing thing where one of my eyebrows is higher than the other (very noticeable when I wear certain styles of sunglasses) and she corrected it by giving me a "brow lift" with the injections. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT WAS POSSIBLE! I have gone to multiple providers for treatment in the past but I will say this was by far the least painful experience I had for Botox. Then we moved on to my lips. Alice suggested a filler called Kysse. I was very nervous but she promised to take things slow since I had shared I wanted to keep the look as natural as possible. I appreciate that she didn't pressure me (I've had some bad experiences in the past). In the end I was very please with my results. I saw my partner a few days later and he didn't even realize I did anything (MEN! Am I right?) I took that as a good sign. I went to dinner with my mom a few weeks later and thought for sure she would say something as she's gotten a lot of work done over the years. When I talked to her about my experience she said it was so natural it didn't jump out at her and she couldn't believe she didn't notice until I said something. So what I am saying is, GO SEE ALICE! If you are a first timer she's a pro and will make you feel calm. And if this isn't your first rodeo you'll see what I mean when I say this experience is different than everywhere else.

Dr Roy, hands down, is the best at what he does. I trust him whole heartedly and wouldn’t let anyone else touch my face. He genuinely cares about his patients and how they are feeling. I had concerns during my post op healing. I sent Dr. Roy a text. He responded later that day and put my mind at ease. I later learned he was on vacation with his family when I had texted him. Dr. Roy could have waited to reply or passed me off to one of his great assistants, but he took time away from his family to reply himself. I had procedures done in September 2023. I really didn’t experience much pain because Dr. Roy and his assistants know what they’re doing and have steps in place to minimize the pain. But, if I’m being honest, I took longer than most to heal. I didn’t have the results that I had hoped for at 30 days post op and not even at 3 months. I wore glasses to hide my results and I was beginning to second guess my decision to have surgery. I was so disappointed that I didn’t look like all those before and after pictures that he posts on social media. All the while, through my negativity and disappointment, Dr. Roy put up with me. I even started to cry in his office at one of my checkups. He was just so supportive and he kept assuring me that I needed to be patient and that he wasn’t going anywhere. He wanted me to be happy. I wish I could go back to tell myself to be patient and not waste so much energy on worrying so much. I’m happy to say, I’m at exactly 5 months and a week post op and my results are amazing! I don’t look tired anymore. My muscles are still healing, but I’m excited. The best part is that no one outside of my immediate circle has any clue that I had anything done. I look like me, but a younger version of me. Would I do it again and entrust Dr. Roy? In a heartbeat, absolutely 100%!

I've been coming to RefinedMD for my laser hair removal treatments and I'm so incredibly happy with my results! Alice has been my technician for all my appointments and she has made me feel so cared for and informed during the whole process.
