My time with Dr. Roy and the RefinedMD crew has been incredible. I’m sharing this because I was terrified before surgery, unsure if I’d picked the right surgeon, so I'm hoping this will help someone who is feeling that way. Social media makes it hard to distinguish between a 'famous' surgeon and a truly skilled one. I found Dr. Roy on a random Facebook find. Despite that random start, I felt immediately comfortable with him during my first consultation. He understood my goals immediately and he explained the process and expectations clearly. Still, I worried if "comfortable" meant "the best," but after two other consultations, no one else compared. He didn't upsell me on a lip lift, full face lift or upper eye blepharoplasty, which I appreciated. So we agreed on a neck, lower face, and brow lift. For context: I’m 55 and felt my neck looked 70, even though my face passed for early 40s (I was told ;-)). I felt like I didn't need a lot of work on my face. Hence, I was scared of looking "overdone" or worse than before. Dr. Roy is incredibly skillful - I am stunned by the results. My husband even says I look younger than on our wedding day 17 years ago! The result is so natural. I just look like my old self. The team (including Christine & Alex) is genuinely kind—not just "customer service" nice. Beyond his skill, the care was personal. Dr. Roy gave us his personal cell number and responded instantly during those first few days after surgery when my husband reached out to him with concerns/questions. My advice? Follow every pre & post-op instruction. They aren't optional. The first few days are tough, and you definitely need help, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Dr. Roy is a top-tier surgeon who doesn't need a Beverly Hills office or flashy marketing to prove it. Don't be fooled by follower counts and constant postings by other doctors that just lead to price gouging. If you're looking for a plastic surgeon, look no further than Dr. Roy.

I had lower blepharoplasty with co2 laser and I am beyond happy with my results. I couldn’t have picked a better Dr to have done my procedure! Great experience. Dr Roy is amazing! His team is amazing as well!

Dr. Roy and his whole team were amazing. I have never had any type of facial surgery before but Dr. Roy explained my options and listened to my questions and concerns. My results were fantastic! Completely fitting with my desires to look natural and refreshed. My follow up care was remarkable as well. At all my appointments Dr. Roy and the other nurses were so helpful and I was impressed with their interest and encouragement as I hit all of my little healing milestones. I feel so lucky that I found Refined MD…I will continue my relationship with them because of the outstanding quality of service with a very compassionate staff. Dr Roy is AMAZING!!!!! I have extreme medical anxiety but have always wanted a blepharoplasty specifically a trifecta lift. and he made me feel so comfortable during the process. My results are ....incredible. Keep in mind I got a trifecta lift and also decided to get full face Co2 laser as well. The best money I have ever spent. I live in BEVERLY HILLS and I traveled to the Bay Area to see Dr Roy because after seeing his work online and having a consult with him I knew he would do an amazing job. LA GIRLS HEAD TO THE BAY!!! He's so much better than any LA surgeon, I'm telling you. I will post a before and after no makeup and then also a selfie 4 weeks post op w makeup. I would trust this man w my life.
