Katie Given, MD, PhD, MBA, FAAD, FACMS, is a double board-certified in dermatology and micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology. and fellowship-trained Mohs and reconstructive surgeon who blends advanced medical training with an eye for precision and detail. With expertise in skin cancer management, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Given helps patients achieve results that are both functional and beautiful. She sees patients in Los Gatos at RefinedMD for cosmetic treatments and in Mountain View for Mohs surgery. She is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered care.

Dr. Given completed her Internal Medicine internship at the University of Chicago Hospitals before training in Dermatology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She went on to complete an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetics at UCSF.
