CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical alternative to liposuction that allows you to freeze away stubborn fat. It isn’t a weight loss procedure; instead, it’s designed for individuals who are already at or near their target weight. Instead, it offers both women and men an effective way to finally eliminate those persistent fat areas that refuse to go away. CoolSculpting Elite has been shown to reduce more fat in fewer cycles than regular CoolSculpting.
CoolSculpting works by eliminating fat cells. Each treatment reduces fat in the targeted area by about 18% to 20%. The number of treatments you’ll need depends on your goals and body. CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite treatments are similar in their approach. We place the applicator over the treatment area. You may feel suction (depending on the applicator used), followed by intense cold, and possibly a tingling sensation, until the skin becomes numb. The treatment itself is low-key enough to allow you to squeeze in a Netflix episode or check your email during the session. Treatments are as quick as 35 minutes, depending on the targeted area and the applicator used. No anesthetic is needed.
Results develop gradually as treated fat dies and the body eliminates it. You’ll see full results within 6 months of your final treatment.
