Consultations are the only way to design a treatment plan to achieve your goals, and now we’re offering virtual consultations (and even appointments in some cases!) to make it easier to squeeze skin care and pampering into your busy schedule. RefinedMD is offering a safer alternative for both medical dermatology appointments as well as aesthetic consultations that allow patients to have a video conference-based visit with a RefinedMD practitioner. Appointments and Consultations
Virtual/ In office esthetic consultations, both surgical and non-surgical, are $150 for all patients. Consultations with our Patient Care Coordinators are $100, consultations with a licensed esthetician are $100 and a good introduction to the practice. Aesthetic Consultations
Cost: $150 consult with a Physician or Nurse Practitioner. Due at the time of appointment booking, consult fee applies towards cost of treatments.
Meet with our Aesthetic team and talk about ways to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, minimize brown age spots, discuss facial aging, and even review dermal fillers, Botox, and other popular body contouring treatments. Aesthetics consultations are $100 to speak with a patient coordinator, $100 to speak with a licensed Esthetician and $150 to speak with a Nurse Practitioner.
Facial Plastic Surgery Consultations
Virtual or in office consultations with Dr. Sudeep Roy are $150. Payment for the consultation is due at the time of appointment booking and applicable to any recommended procedures to follow. We are encouraging virtual consultation when appropriate.

Medical Dermatology Appointments
Cost: For insured patients we submit to your insurance and the patient is responsible for any remaining balances. Remaining balances will be charged to the credit card on file, according to the practice financial agreement.

For Existing Patients
For existing patients facial surgery appointments/consultations require a $150 deposit. Aesthetics consultations are $50 with a Patient Care Coordinator and $100 with a Licensed Esthetician.
For New Patients
For new patients, facial surgery consultations require a $150 payment. Aesthetics consultations are $100 with a Licensed Esthetician and $50 with a Patient Care Coordinator. Medical appointments require a $150 deposit and will be credited toward any patient financial responsibilities.
A Note About our Insurance Policy Moving Forward
As of June 2021 RefinedMD is in the process of terminating our medical insurance contracts with all commercial insurance companies, including medicare. We will post effective termination dates here which represent the last date we will be in network with the listed carriers.
We will continue to do our best to optimize availability for existing patients who need medical/dermatologic appointments. Availability for appointments for medical visits for new patients may be beyond 4 weeks at this time

We look forward to continuing to provide your dermatologic care, however charges will be due at the time service is rendered. We will provide you with a medical billing statement that you can remit to your insurance and make a claim for out of network benefits, if you have that coverage.
RefinedMD will initiate billing with your insurance carrier here at the office. However, this does not assure payment by your insurance carrier. Patients are responsible for all unmet deductibles, applicable co-payments, and coinsurances. If we are not in network with your insurance, and you still choose to see one of our providers, you will be responsible for all office fees at the time of your visit. Any and all outstanding patient balances are due upon receipt or next visit.
We will, of course, wish to see you even if your insurance is out of network and you’ll simply pay for the cost at the time of service. Please call the number on the back of your card to verify coverage.
