Experienced Aesthetic Nurse Injector and/or Laser Nurse – RN/NP or PA

RefinedMD is seeking an experienced , outgoing and motivated Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our renowned aesthetic and facial surgical practice on a full time or part time basis. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed professional in the field of aesthetics. Botox, Fillers, Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Kybella, Daxxify, Voluma, Dysport, Fractional Lasers, ablative and non ablative lasers, Coolsculpting, Halo, Moxi, LaseMD, microneedling should all be a part of your lexicon.

Currently, our staff is comprised of 2 well respected board certified physicians in facial plastic surgery and dermatology as well as mid level providers, nurses and aestheticians. On a daily basis right in our office we can take patients all the way from facials to facelifts. We are looking for mature, experienced professionals who are productive and able to multi-task with efficiency and a smile! Must have the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for all of our patients and our team!

Responsibilities:

• Provide patients with the best possible experience prior to, during, and after cosmetic procedures.
• Abide by all state laws and regulations regarding sanitation, protocols, and safety. Ensure patient safety while maintaining a high level of customer service, treatment quality and treatment education.
• Hold a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients, patients and staff members.
• Practice patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policy.
• Perform in-depth patient consultations that include taking medical history, explaining risks and benefits, and obtaining signed consents for procedures.
• Develop on point patient treatment plans to guide patients on their aesthetic journey;
• Pursue opportunities to educate patients about other procedures and services offered. Refer patients internally for all skin-related matters.
• Practice excellent communication skills to facilitate building relationships with patients and staff;
• Be comfortable with the sales process and responsible for price quoting, providing consent forms, pre and post procedure protocol, discussing treatment in detail, etc.;
• Work closely with MD’s and others to provide appropriate aesthetic services;
• Be detail-oriented with excellent time management;
• Responsible for documenting accurate and timely same day treatment notes. Offer clear and consistent documentation of all data related to patient care (Nextech or similar EMR experience preferred).
• Provide an education-based, non-aggressive sales approach to inform clients of the product, service, and series options with the intention and ability to build retention and repeat business;
• Participate in frequent team meetings and trainings.
• Ability to fill in when necessary for other clinic duties/treatments such as Hydrafacials, DiamondGlow and various aesthetic body treatments such as Coolsculpting, Accufit, Emtone and Emsculpt.

Requirements:

• Must have a current and active RN, PA or NP license for the State of California;
• 2 years injection experience – neurotoxins and dermal fillers; (skillset will be thoroughly reviewed with applicant during time of interview)
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills;
• Always use clinical and medical procedures and protocols, best practices and remain current with new treatments and procedures for optimizing results
• Dedicated and open to learning new techniques, efficient and meticulous with their craft.
• Experience in a clinic setting or Medical Spa, Medical Aesthetics or Plastic Surgery office preferred
• Available to work some evenings or short Saturdays as needed with advance notice

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years recent experience working in a dermatology, plastic surgery or med spa administering injectables, operating lasers and using other aesthetic devices on patients. You should have hands-on experience as a Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Have at least 2+ years providing some of the various cosmetic laser services we utilize such as Sciton BBL, Moxi treatments, Profractional, Halo, Microlaser Peels, Genius, Gensis, ExcelV and Laser hair removal.
• Have at least 2+ years injecting various dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Voluma, Vollure, Volux, RHA1-4, as well as neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport and Daxxify.
• Must have direct, hands-on experience in medical spa procedures such as injections with the certification/licenses to all that apply, and the ability to perfectly perform said procedures.
• Blood draws for PRP/PRF treatments (preferred)

You must be someone who is a quick learner and open to feedback to help in success of their position and practice.

Compensation:

Starting Pay Range: $50 – $80/ hour guaranteed plus quarterly bonus beginning after 1 year potentially bringing total annual compensation up to $180K+ for the qualified and successful applicant at the top of their game. Additional bonus plan details will be shared at time of interview. Starting hourly pay is determined based on candidate experience, knowledge and skillset.
