Aesthetic Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner

RefinedMD is seeking an experienced, outgoing, and motivated Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis.

 

Our staff is comprised of two board certified physicians in facial plastic surgery and dermatology, as well as mid-level providers. We are looking for talented medical professionals who can not only contribute to a fun and welcoming environment, but is also the consummate professional who is confident, articulate and takes pride in good work. Patient care is the priority, and the ideal candidate understands that it requires multi-tasking with efficiency and a smile.

Responsibilities:

  • Hold a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients, patients, and staff members.
  • Pursue opportunities to educate patients about other procedures and services offered. Refer patients internally for all skin-related matters.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate building relationships with patients and staff.
  • Comfortable with the sales process and responsible for price quoting, providing consent forms, pre and post-procedure protocol, discussing treatment in detail, etc.
  • Provides patients with the best possible experience prior to, during, and after procedures.
  • Abide by all state laws and regulations regarding sanitation, protocols, and safety. Ensure patient safety while maintaining a high level of customer service, treatment quality, and treatment education.
  • Practice patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and company policy.
  • Perform in-depth patient consultations that include taking a medical history, explaining risks and benefits, and obtaining signed consents for procedures.
  • Work closely with an MD to provide appropriate aesthetic services.
  • Experience in an education-based, non-aggressive sales approach to inform clients of the product, service, and series options with the intention and ability to build retention and repeat business.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management
  • Responsible for documenting accurate and timely treatment notes. Offer clear and consistent documentation of all data related to patient care (Nextech experience preferred).

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a current and active Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner license for the State of California.
  • Excellent customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be dedicated, open to learning new techniques, efficient, and meticulous with their craft.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience working in a dermatology, plastic surgery, or med spa administering injectables and operating lasers and devices on patients. 2 years of hands-on experience as a Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Have at least 2+ years of providing some of the various cosmetic laser services we utilize, such as Sciton BBL, Moxi treatments, Profractional, Halo, Microlaser Peels, Genius, Genesis, ExcelV, and Laser hair removal.
  • Have at least 2+ years injecting various dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Voluma etc., as well as neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport.
  • Must have direct, hands-on experience in medical spa procedures, appropriate certification/licenses, and the ability to perform procedures perfectly.

Licensed Aesthetician

RefinedMD is looking for an experienced aesthetician who has experience working in the Aesthetics field. Position requires a consistently positive attitude, a sense of humor, attention to detail, excellent typing and administrative skills, and all with a smiling face! A successful candidate gladly has the ability to connect and engage with patients from all walks of life.

 

The aesthetician will be responsible for providing a full range of aesthetician services tailored to meet the client’s needs and objectives. This role will combine the promotion of products and services, and performing treatments to build the business and maintain clients.

 

Qualified candidates will have the following skills and attributes:

  • At least two years of esthetician experience in a clinical setting
  • Polished and professional appearance
  • Knowledge of skin care procedures and various product lines
  • Excellent communication skills are required to educate our clients on the services provided
  • Ability to tailor execution of services by meeting the client’s specific needs with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to educate and sell skin care products to help patients achieve the best skin care routines
  • Impeccable professional boundaries and work ethics
  • Ability and willingness to market and build a client base
  • A team spirit and desire to work well with other staff members
  • Integrity and reliability is a must
  • Experience with Diamond Glow treatments a plus
  • Must have a passion for the Aesthetics industry

 

Must have a current California State Aesthetician license.

Everyone helps with doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, and being a team player when needed.
