Facelift Patient 34
This 61-year-old female presented for a revision lower facelift, having had a previous mini-lift with another surgeon a few decades earlier. The lower face and neck were starting to show signs of soft tissue descent and skin laxity, but otherwise, she did not have a very heavy neck or significant banding.
The patient met with Board Certified facial surgeon Dr. Sudeep Roy and the decision was made to proceed with a limited incision lower facelift (aka a mini-lift), which was paired with a conservative facial fat transfer to restore some youthful volume in areas of age-related deficit. Pictured here, she is 6 weeks after surgery with a more youthful lower face and neck contour while looking incredibly natural. Hyperpigmentation along the preauricular scar, which is quite common for darker skin types and the subject of much discussion during consultations, will continue to improve and fade away in time.
