Lower Eyelids Patient 3
This 69-year-old female presented with numerous concerns, although front and foremost was the appearance of her lower eyes. She said her eyes have always been her most prized asset, but since the development of her lower eyelid bags, she lost that sense of confidence she previously had. The patient was ready for a transformation! Dr. Sudeep Roy identified the issue, prolapsed orbital fat (fat around the eye) starting to fall forward and show. There was also a moderate amount of skin laxity in the lower eyelid which needed to be addressed as well. The patient underwent bilateral lower blepharoplasty (lower eyelid lift surgery) through an incision on the inside of the eyelid as well as a lower eyelid chemical peel. Now she looks more refreshed and youthful, and her eyes are gleaming again!
