The one given in the aesthetic dermatology world is something new is always coming through. The biggest issue is whether the technology has some scientific backing to it, if the cost of the system is appropriate, whether patients can handle the pain and or downtime. And lastly, if it really works as promised. I just do not like to promote products and procedures that don’t deliver as promised. So here I go on what’s new and what’s cool.
COOLSCULPTNG®: Freeze your fat away! We now have dozens of delighted clients who have seen their pinchable fat diminish with each treatment. One of the two FDA approved systems for reliable fat reduction. Now offering CoolSculpt Mini and the new Advantage adaptors too.
VANQUISH ME: The only FDA approved radiofrequency technology for circumferential fat reduction and skin tightening. This is for those who have completed CoolSculpting and looking for further reduction and tightening. Also very useful for those who have more circumferential fat that is less pinchable type. These two systems are very complimentary and often used in a series.
THERMI SMOOTH and THERMI TIGHT and THERMI EYES: Our newest RF technology for addressing loose lax skin around the eyes, the jawline, abdomen, arms, and knees.
Kybella: The first FDA approved nonsurgical means of getting rid of submental fullness. We are among the first offices in the US to offer this unique new injectable therapy
CLEAR AND BRILLIANT: Our newest skin rejuvenation treatment that can use two different wavelengths of laser diode light to treat skin texture and pigmentation. Treatments are fast, very comfortable and virtually with no downtime. The more you do the better the skin looks. This has become one of our most popular ‘zero downtime’ treatments.
Microneedling: Collagen Induction Therapy. The newest innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars, stretch marks, other scars as well as overall improvement in the skin’s texture, tone, and color. During this procedure, small sterile, disposable needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This repair results in a thicker dermis with softer wrinkles. We can also use these needle induced microchannels to more effectively absorb healing and repairing gels and serums.
Infini: We finally have found a radiofrequency treatment that provides predictable and safe treatment for acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles and lax skin. Think of this as a combination of microneedling and collagen stimulation via RF technology. A disposable tip that has a grid of 49 gold plated needles is used to stamp your skin. Laser Genesis®: A new 1064 Nd/YAG laser technology that uses non-invasive, non-ablative technology to safely, naturally and effectively treat fine lines, wrinkles, diffuse redness, scars, and pigmentation. By gently heating the upper dermis beneath your skin in 20-minute sessions, it induces collagen synthesis and reduces redness at the same time. This is totally safe on all skin types.
THERMIVA and FEMILIFT: Our newest offerings at Refined. Both systems provide benefits for feminine rejuvenation. Specific concerns that respond to these technologies include vaginal and external laxity, dryness/loss of lubrication. Each treatment consists of a series of 3 treatments spaced a month apart and then one maintenance treatment over 6-9 months. It offers a very comfortable, pleasant treatment with zero downtime.
